Back in 2012, Kevin and Julie relocated to the Welsh Borders and decided that there should be a Model Railway Exhibition in the area – and possibly even a local Club!

Kevin was particularly interested in ‘O’ Gauge while Julie was more of a ‘OO’ Gauge kind of girl.

Borders Model Railway Club was therefore born, appealing to enthusiasts from both interest groups alike.

In recent years the addition of a further group of ‘N’ Gauge modellers has enhanced the facilities that we offer.

And don’t forget all those who like to build models from scratch!

We currently have an ‘OO’ Gauge exhibition layout ‘Harbour Station’ and work is also being carried out on a ‘small’ ‘O’ Gauge layout ‘Llandrinio Road’.
